Oodles of...POODLES!!
So, after the wolf-dog didn't work out, guess what I stumbled upon? A bouncing pair of five month old standard poodle puppy brothers who needed a family! We had such a great experience with our first standard poodle, Fifi, I had a feeling we should at least go visit and check them out. They are are very bonded to one another and Dave and I didn't have the heart to break them up, so...we took both! They are a joyful addition to our family, and all of the other pets and people love them dearly already. I have named then Jean Claude and Philippe and they are sweet, smart, loving, playful, and PERFECT! I can't wait for you to meet them :)

Lots of news!
Hello, dog-blog-readers! Sorry I am a bad blogger and rarely post.
So here is an update, starting with some important news: there is no class at the park district this Wednesday, because Jake has his school talent show.
Next, some sad/ bad news: I'm sure by now you know this; we had to put our dog, Nefer, to sleep on Wednesday. She was very ill and had put up a long fight. She made it to the ripe old age of 14 and she died peacefully at home, with a little help from our friend Lynn, the vet.
Here are a few pictures of Nefer from a long time ago:

We will miss her a lot but we're happy she isn't suffering anymore; she was not feeling well her last couple of days.

Hello, Dog-Bloggers!
Dear Students,
It is my great hope you will all get inspired by my dog training blog and start one of your own! I am so happy to see Sky has a blog, and hope everyone checks it out. Sky is one of my advanced training dogs, and his people, Barb and Ken, are model students with lots of helpful advice and great examples of my training in application and practice.
Some of the new beginners are taking me seriously regarding their dog school "homework," and their blogs are finding their way to me, as well. I'll be linking them via the blog roll (over on the right side of this page) as I receive them.
I hope you all comment and give lots of positive reinforcement to your fellow (human) dog training classmates. Let me know if you'd like some help making a dog training blog of your own!
Warmly,
Peggy
PS--I hope to see you all at class Wednesday. Please note: the time has been changed from 7:00-8:30 to 6:30-8:00. Sorry for any inconvenience.
