New homework assignment for ALL of you :)

Dear Fellow Dog Training Bloggers,

Please update your blog if you have not posted within the last week. Also, please be sure to "follow" your fellow bloggers, and to offer comments or feedback to some of them! Let's get this party started!

Your Dog Trainer,

  1. nice posting.. thanks for sharing.

  2. I found only 1 blog, Shalimar, where I could follow it. The others don't have that option. What am I doing wrong?

  3. Hi Gisela,

Try clicking the little crossed tool icon at the end of my blog roll. It says "edit" if you hover over it. When you click that it should open a new window which says "Configure Blog List."

You can create a name for your blog list, and select how the classmate blogs appear on yours. You should see a hypertext link toward the bottom of the pop-up window which should say "Add to List." Click this and it will allow you options for how to follow. The option which says "Add by URL" is the one to select. Next open a blog belonging to a classmate, and in the task bar at the top of the page copy and paste the URL for the blog. For example, if you open "Good Termite," this is the address you'll find in your browser task bar: http://goodtermite.blogspot.com/
that is what you enter into the add to list box in order to include it in your blog roll (list of blogs you read, which will show up on Steve's page after you are done following the above steps.

In case my method isn't clear, here are steps from eHow.com:

Sometimes, you will see a widget on someone's blog.
Click on FOLLOW, make sure you are signed into your Blogger account.
You can choose to publicly follow (meaning your little icon shows up on the widget) or you can follow privately (your little icon won't show up on the widget)

Like someone's blog but don't see the widget? Try this step.
Make sure you are signed in on your Blogger account.
Under the 'Reading List' and 'Blogs I'm Following', you should see a 'ADD' button.
Click on that and type in the URL of the blog you would like updates on.
    Click 'Next' and viola!

  4. Hi Peggy,
I attempted to create a blog (through Google Plus), and am not sure what I am doing. Unfortunately it's summer break so I can't ask a 10 year old to help me interpret the world of blogging. I did not encounter anything requiring a password so I probably am missing some important step.

  5. Hi Sara,

Give me a call and I'll talk you through it :)
